Andrew Goodman, partner

Andy Goodman became a partner of Milliron & Goodman because of his unwavering commitment and long-term vision for the firm’s clients. No stranger to issue development and grassroots strategies, Andy is responsible for client relationships and account management ensuring that objectives are successfully achieved. He makes sure that clients are “in the know” at all times with clear, concise communications. His leadership on issue advocacy has made Andy one of the most trusted and recognized lobbyists in Harrisburg.

Client issues can be complex and rarely have a single view point. When seeking common ground, Andy gives a well educated, straightforward message when presenting both sides of an issue. Issue knowledge is key to a successful outcome. Clients have come to depend on him for his critical analysis and comprehensive strategies when a political angle is needed. His legislative experiences, examination of facts and political participation have led our clients to many successful advocacy campaigns. Knowing issues, delivering clear information and having trusted relationships has made Andy one of the “go-to-guys” for our clients and government policy makers. Andy has made it his personal goal to be accessible for clients at all times. He established an “open-door” policy when joining the firm and that policy continues today as a partner in the firm.

Milliron & Goodman’s diverse clientele creates an environment for continual learning, and Andy thrives on that fact. He has mastered the ability to organize and lead legislative initiatives in the committees of Licensure, Health, Agriculture, Transportation, and Consumer Affairs. He works regularly with Department policy makers to develop and implement regulations that create an improved business or healthcare environment for our clients.

When not advocating in Harrisburg, Andy finds it exhilarating to be part of the political process. He incorporates his experience and knowledge of communications and financial expertise to many a political campaign.

Milliron & Goodman is proud to be one of the few veteran-owned government relations firms in Harrisburg. Before earning his degree, Andy served in the United States Air Force on active duty. During his 4 year commitment, he served overseas for 3 years. After receiving an Honorable Discharge, he entered Millersville University in Lancaster. Andy completed his Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, with dual minors in Government/Political Affairs and International Studies. In addition, he earned a Master of Business Administration degree, while working at the firm, from Lebanon Valley College. Andy is a member of the Elizabethtown Veterans of Foreign Wars and Pennsylvania Association of Government Relations.
